Inspire Creativity with Architecture Design Camp
Design Camp, offered through the Fay Jones School of Architecture and Design, provides students in grades 9-12 with an immersive experience in architecture, landscape architecture, and interior design. Led by Fay Jones School faculty and students, campers engage in:
- Hands-on design projects, tours, and discussions in a creative studio environment.
- Exploration of campus, local design projects, and professional insights from practicing designers.
- Residential options, allowing students to experience college life firsthand.
- Advanced Camp for juniors and seniors, offering a two-week immersive experience with challenging design problems and field trips.
Design Camp has proven to be a strong recruiting tool for the Fay Jones School, with many former campers enrolling as first-year students. Full funding will provide scholarships for six students to attend Advanced Camp, ensuring access for talented students who may not otherwise have the opportunity.
