Pay It Forward with Arkansas Alumni Association Scholarships

This project seeks funding for the newly established Arkansas Alumni Board of Directors Endowed Scholarship. This renewable, merit-based scholarship gives preference to incoming freshmen who are enrolled full-time as degree-seeking students at the University of Arkansas. All alumni scholarships provide financial assistance and membership into the Student Alumni Association, providing personal and professional growth events along with opportunities to network with alumni and friends of the university. 

By reducing financial barriers, these scholarships empower students from diverse backgrounds, including first-generation and low-income students, to focus on academic success, leadership, and community engagement. Scholarship recipients often give back to the community through service initiatives, internships, and campus involvement, strengthening the local culture of leadership and civic responsibility.

The impact extends beyond the university, benefiting the region and state by developing skilled graduates who contribute to Arkansas’s workforce, economy, and innovation.
