Invest in Student Experience with Walton College

While academics remain of the utmost importance, programming and experiences outside of the classroom are absolutely vital to our students’ success, both during college and post-graduation. To enrich student leadership skills and critical thinking skills, instill confidence, and expand students’ perspectives, Walton College would like support to help expand the following initiatives:

• First-Year Experience Abroad – this program is for freshman Walton students and is designed to provide a study abroad opportunity for those who might not otherwise have the resources to do so. Preference is given to in-state students who have not traveled abroad previously and have demonstrated financial need, to the extent allowable by law. 
• Leadership Walton Program – Leadership Walton is a professional development program for undergraduate business students, offering a unique blend of academic, leadership and career development opportunities specifically designed to guide students toward lifelong professional success. The program fills the gap between academic pursuits and workforce preparation through an enhancement to standard education experiences.
• Career Closet – Walton’s Career Closet provides students with gently used business casual and business professional attire, enabling students who may not otherwise be able to afford it to present a professional image at career fair attendance, interviews, internships, and other business scenarios. Enrolled Walton students are allotted up to four separates per semester or one suit per year, items that become permanently theirs.
