Amplify Local Voices and Empower Future Journalists with the KUAF Listening Lab
At KUAF, we believe in the power of storytelling to connect communities, foster understanding, and preserve history. That’s why we created the KUAF Listening Lab—a dedicated space where individuals from all walks of life can share their experiences, document oral histories, and engage in meaningful conversations.
With the help of our student interns, these stories don’t just stay within our walls. Once recorded, they are shared with a wider audience through KUAF’s award-winning program, Ozarks at Large, transforming local voices into regional conversations.
With your support, the Listening Lab will continue to serve as a vital resource for both our community and the next generation of media professionals. Your support will help us:
- Sustain the Listening Lab’s Operations – Keep our doors open to the community, providing a welcoming space for storytelling and dialogue.
- Enhance Student Learning – Offer hands-on training in journalism, media production, and communications, equipping students with real-world experience.
- Improve Recording Capabilities – Invest in updated recording equipment, software, and technology to ensure the highest quality storytelling.
- Preserve Community Stories – Fund the archiving and broadcasting of these recordings on Ozarks at Large, ensuring they reach a broad audience.
Join Us in Amplifying the Stories That Shape Our World!
Your donation directly fuels this initiative, ensuring that voices from our community—past and present—are heard, remembered, and shared. Together, we can keep these stories alive.
Thank you for being a champion of storytelling, learning, and community connection!
