The University of Arkansas Men's Rugby Club is raising funds to travel to competitions!
Our away trips can demand quite a bit of money throughout the season. At times an overnight stay is required, in which case at least five hotel rooms need to be booked and paid for by the club. As for gas expenses, the rugby team travels by car with a handful of players volunteering to drive. The funds raised through this campaign would help reimburse those athletes as the funds are initially taken out of their own pockets.
Food and beverage costs are not always covered by the team; athletes usually buy their own food at their own discretion. However, it would be very nice to have funds raised for meal purchases, which would allow us to feed the team for bonding purposes.
Lastly, the Nationals tournament - which we hope to qualify for - takes place at the end of the school year. It is an amazing opportunity for our athletes, but it does cost a lot of money. Your support will help us tackle these financial obstacles and have a great season!
