Cue the confetti! The Sustainability Consortium was officially founded ten years ago, and we can't wait to see what the next ten years will bring!
A decade ago, our founders Jon Johnson, Kevin Dooley, and Jay Golden had the idea to translate the science of sustainability into quantifiable metrics and practical tools for buyers and suppliers to be able to address sustainability issues in their supply chains.
Since then, our staff and members have developed and analyzed those metrics, while building relationships with and convening a global group of thought leaders in the consumer goods industries. We are standing on the shoulders of so many individuals who believed in our mission and our impact. Believed that an organization like ours was needed to identify improvement opportunities, convene stakeholders, produce research databases, and drive real change. Ten years in, we have much to celebrate and much work to do.
Improvement is possible, but we need your help! To celebrate our birthday, we’re asking if you would consider donating $20.09 (or more) in honor of our founding year. Show that you care about the products you use and how they affect the planet by helping us fund the next decade of TSC.
Above all, thank you. Thank you for the support you have provided by following along and participating in these last ten years. We are looking forward to the next decade of working alongside all of you to make the products we use and rely on more sustainable.
