SMASH (Students Mastering the Art of Southern Hospitality) is an annual event, led by students, that serves as a fundraiser for the hospitality program. It offers hospitality students a valuable opportunity to plan and execute an event, providing them with practical experience and deepening their knowledge of the industry.
This year's theme, "1001 Nights (of SMASH)," draws inspiration from the rich tapestry of ancient Persian culture, featuring a variety of elements and traditional Persian cuisine that has been cherished for centuries. Attendees will have the chance to explore the history of 1001 Nights and discover the stories that inspired this year's theme. The event will be a cultural immersion of food, drinks, and celebration.
We invite you to join us at this year's SMASH to learn about the historical significance of 1001 Nights and witness the creativity and effort of our hospitality students. It's an opportunity to see their hard work come to life and to enjoy an evening filled with cultural enrichment and exquisite cuisine.
