This public health crisis has already posed significant challenges to the university. Our students are dealing with unprecedented disruptions to their academic journeys as they transition to remote learning, see local jobs eliminated or hours cut short and find numerous programs and events canceled.
Many alumni and friends have reached out to ask how they can help. While the U of A has taken strong steps to protect our campus community, we want to do even more to support our students on an individual level – especially those who are experiencing hardship due to the COVID-19 pandemic. You can be a part of these efforts by contributing to one of our student emergency funds.
Our student emergency funds assist U of A students with unexpected needs that arise from situations outside of their control. Now, more than ever, we need the Razorback family to unite in support of these initiatives, because funding is currently insufficient to assist every student facing challenges. With your help, we can better address their hardships and provide aid during this critical time.
Please consider making a gift of any size to a student emergency fund of your choice. Your contribution will provide students with emergency financial support, help them overcome barriers to academic success and keep them on track for graduation.
Gifts will have an immediate impact by helping students navigate financial difficulties such as:
You can choose to give to the general student emergency fund, or you can direct your gift to student veterans, graduate students, law students or international students in need.
Thank you for being an important part of the U of A community. We might not know what lies ahead, but we do know that if we come together and rally behind our students, we will emerge even stronger.
For a student interested in learning more about campus resources, please visit the U of A Cares page and fill out a non-emergency report. Someone will be in touch with you within 24 hours.
